T H (Taa Haa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta Ha. 1 We have not sent down the Koran upon thee for thee to be unprosperous, 2 But only as an admonition unto him who feareth. 3 It is a revelation from the Creator of the earth and the high heavens. 4 The Most Merciful [who is] above the Throne established. 5 His is what is in the heavens and what is in the earth and what is between them two and what is beneath the ground. 6 And if you (O Muhammad SAW) speak (the invocation) aloud, then verily, He knows the secret and that which is yet more hidden. 7 Allah! no God there is but he! His are the names excellent. 8 Has the story of Moses reached thee? 9 When he saw a fire and said to his family: "Hold on! I have just perceived a fire; perhaps I will bring a brand from it for you, or I will find some guidance at the fire about the way to follow." 10 But when he came to the fire, a voice was heard: "O Moses! 11 Verily, I am thy Sustainer! Take off, then, thy sandals! Behold, thou art in the twice hallowed valley, 12 I Myself have chosen you; therefore, give ear to what is revealed. 13 "Verily, I - I alone - am God; there is no deity save Me. Hence, worship Me alone, and be constant in prayer, so as to remember Me! 14 Indeed, the Hour is coming - I almost conceal it - so that every soul may be recompensed according to that for which it strives. 15 Hence, let not anyone who does not believe in its coming and follows [but] his own desires divert thee from [belief in] it, lest thou perish! 16 And what is that in your right hand, O Moses?" 17 He replied, "It is my staff. I lean on it, bring down leaves for my sheep with it and I need it for other reasons. 18 The Lord said, "Moses, throw it on the ground". 19 Moses threw it on the ground and suddenly he saw that it was a moving serpent. 20 Said He: "Take hold of it, and fear not: We shall restore it to its former state. 21 And draw in your hand to your side; it will come out white without disease - another sign, 22 This We have done to show you some of Our greater miracles. 23 “Go to Firaun, he has rebelled.” 24
