Blessed is He Who made constellations in the skies, and placed therein a Lamp and a Moon giving light; 61 And it is He Who hath appointed the night and the day a succession, for him who desireth to consider or desireth to be grateful. 62 For, [true] servants of the Most Gracious are [only] they who walk gently on earth, and who, whenever the foolish address them, reply with [words of] peace; 63 And those who spend the night before their Lord, prostrate and standing. 64 who pray, "Our Lord, save us from the torment of Hell, for its torment is killing: 65 "Evil indeed is it as an abode, and as a place to rest in"; 66 And they who when they spend, are neither extravagant nor parsimonious, and (keep) between these the just mean. 67 those who never invoke any other deity besides God, nor take a life which God has made sacred, except with the right to do so, nor commit adultery. Anyone who does that shall face punishment: 68 The torment will be doubled to him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein in disgrace; 69 Unless he repents, believes, and works righteous deeds, for Allah will change the evil of such persons into good, and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful, 70 Those who repent and act righteously have truly returned to God, 71 Those who witness no falsehood, and, if they pass by futility, they pass by it with honourable (avoidance); 72 who do not turn a blind eye and a deaf ear to the signs of their Lord when they are reminded of them; 73 And those who pray, "Our Lord! Grant unto us wives and offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and give us (the grace) to lead the righteous." 74 They will be rewarded for their perseverance with lofty mansions in empyrean where they will be received with greetings of peace and salutations, 75 Therein they shall dwell forever; fair it is as a lodging-place and an abode. 76 Say, "What would my Lord care for you if not for your supplication?" For you [disbelievers] have denied, so your denial is going to be adherent. 77
