The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the heavens with constellations, 1 and by the promised Day, 2 And by the Day witnessing and the Day witnessed, 3 The companions of the pit were killed 4 Of the fuel-fed fire, 5 When they sat by it (fire), 6 Witnessing what they had done to the believers! 7 And they did not take vengeance on them for aught except that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praised, 8 God to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and God is Witness over everything. 9 Indeed those who troubled the Muslim men and Muslim women, and then did not repent – for them is the punishment of hell, and for them is the punishment of fire. 10 Surely for those who believe and do the right are gardens with rivers running by. That is the greatest success. 11 The grip of your Lord is indeed severe, 12 Verily He! He it is who beginneth and repeateth it. 13 And He alone is truly-forgiving, all-embracing in His love, 14 The Lord of the glorious Throne, 15 Always doing whatever He wills. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 of Pharaoh and of Thamood? 18 And yet the Unbelievers (persist) in rejecting (the Truth)! 19 although Allah surrounds them. 20 This is indeed the glorious Qur'an 21 (Inscribed) in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz (The Preserved Tablet)! 22
