The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 and Man says., 'What ails her?' 3 On that Day she will tell out the tidings thereof. 4 Because your Lord had inspired her. 5 On that day, people will come out of their graves in different groups to see (the results of) their own deeds. 6 Whosoever has done even an atom's weight of good will behold it; 7 And whoever does an evil deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
