THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
