Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2

I do not need to swear by what you see 38 and all that you do not see, 39 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is the word of a noble Messenger. 40 It is not the speech of a poet (little do you believe) 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer (or a foreteller), little is that you remember! 42 It is a revelation sent down by the Sustainer of the Universe: 43 And had he fabricated just one matter upon Us – 44 We would have caught hold of him by his right hand 45 And then severed his life-vein. 46 None of you would be able to prevent Us from doing this to him. 47 And indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder for the righteous. 48 And indeed We know that some among you are deniers. 49 And most surely it is a great grief to the unbelievers. 50 Certainly it is a Truth of absolute certainty. 51 So glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
