The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the midday brightness 1 And by the night when it is stillest, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased, 3 And indeed the latter is better for you than the former. 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan, so provided you shelter? 6 Did He not find you wandering, and give you guidance? 7 And He found thee in need, and made thee independent. 8 As for the orphan, do not oppress him, 9 And repulse not the beggar; 10 Therefor of the bounty of thy Lord be thy discourse. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
