The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

By oath of those that sprint, breathing heavily. (The horses used in Holy War.) 1 and produce sparks 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 And therein raising dust. 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
