The folk of Lot denied the messengers (of Allah), 160 When their brother Lot said to them: "Will you not take heed? 161 I am for you an honest Messenger. 162 “Therefore fear Allah and obey me.” 163 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. 164 What, do you come to male beings, 165 "And leave those whom Allah has created for you to be your mates? Nay, ye are a people transgressing (all limits)!" 166 They said: "If you cease not. O Lout (Lot)! Verily, you will be one of those who are driven out!" 167 He said, "I certainly hate what you practice. 168 My Lord, deliver me and my people from that they do.' 169 We saved him and all of his family, 170 except an old woman who stayed behind, 171 Then We destroyed the others. 172 And We rained on them a rain. And dreadful is the rain of those who have been warned. 173 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 174 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 175
