The Human (Al-Insan)
31 verses, revealed in Medina after The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman) before Divorce (Al-Talaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Has there not been over man a period of time, when he was nothing to be mentioned? 1 We created the human being from the union of sperm and egg to test him. We gave him hearing and vision. 2 Verily, We showed him the way, whether he be grateful or ungrateful. 3 For the Rejecters we have prepared chains, yokes, and a blazing Fire. 4 Surely the pious shall drink of a cup whose mixture is camphor, 5 a fountain whereat drink the servants of God, making it to gush forth plenteously. 6 These will be the ones who fulfil their vows and dread the Day whose woe shall be spread far and wide; 7 They feed the destitute, orphans, and captives for the love of God, saying, 8 Saying: we feed you only for the sake of Allah; we desire not from you any recompense or thanks. 9 Surely we fear from our Lord a stern, distressful day. 10 Therefore Allah will guard them from the evil of that day and cause them to meet with ease and happiness; 11 And reward them, because they were patient, with garden and silk, 12 They will recline therein on couches and they will find neither excessive heat nor cold. 13 And near above them are its shades, and its [fruit] to be picked will be lowered in compliance. 14 And there will be circulated among them vessels of silver and cups having been [created] clear [as glass], 15 Godblets of silver, they shall have filled them to exact measure. 16 And they will be given to drink there a cup (of wine) mixed with Zanjabil (ginger, etc.), 17 therein a fountain whose name is called Salsabil. 18 ۞ They will be served by immortal youths who look like scattered pearls. 19 And when you look there (in Paradise), you will see a delight (that cannot be imagined), and a great dominion. 20 Upon those [blest] will be garments of green silk and brocade; and they will be adorned with bracelets of silver. And their Sustainer will them to drink of a drink most pure. 21 [And it will be said], "Indeed, this is for you a reward, and your effort has been appreciated." 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
