The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

WOE unto every slanderer, fault-finder! 1 who has gathered riches and counted them over 2 Thinking that his wealth would make him last for ever! 3 Nay! he shall most certainly be hurled into the crushing disaster, 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 (It is) the kindled Fire of Allah, 6 which shall oversee the hearts, 7 Indeed it will be shut over them. 8 In extended columns. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
