Elucidated (Fussilat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
HA MIM. 1 A revelation from [God], the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful -- 2 A Book whereof the Verses are explained in detail; A Quran in Arabic for people who know. 3 A herald of good news and a warner, but most of them turn aside so they hear not. 4 They say, 'Our hearts are veiled from what thou callest us to, and in our ears is a heaviness, and between us and thee there is a veil; so act; we are acting!' 5 Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “Physically I am a human like you – I receive the divine revelation that your God is only One God, therefore be upright towards Him and seek forgiveness from Him”; and woe is to the polytheists. – 6 who do not pay Zakah, and who deny the Hereafter. 7 Verily those who believe and work righteous works - unto them shall be a hire unceasing. 8
