▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 it is surely a noble Koran 77 In a Book Hidden. 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 (This Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And make it your provision that ye should belie it? 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 And ye are at that moment looking 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 why, then, if you are not subject to Our command, 86 do you not restore his soul, if you are truthful? 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 then for him there shall be comfort and plenty and a Garden of Bliss; 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 Then there is safety and peace (from the Punishment of Allah) for (you as you are from) those on the Right Hand. 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 Then his reception is the hot boiling water. 93 and the roasting in Hell. 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) proclaim the Purity of the name of your Lord, the Greatest. 96
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
