Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
I swear by all that you can see, 38 And what you do not see 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 And not the word of a poet. How little is it that you believe! 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember. 42 It has been revealed by the Lord of the Universe. 43 And if he had forged concerning us some discourses. 44 We would certainly have seized him by the right hand, 45 And then severed his life-artery, 46 None of you would be able to prevent Us from doing this to him. 47 And indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder for the righteous. 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 29, Page 68] 49 and (on the Day of Judgment) this will be a great source of regret for the unbelievers. 50 yet indeed it is the truth of certainty. 51 So glorify the name of thy Tremendous Lord. 52
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
