The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
The terrible calamity! 1 What is the terrible calamity! 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool, 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Scale 6 shall find himself in a happy state of life; 7 but those whose good deeds will be lighter (on the scale). 8 His refuge will be an abyss. 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 (It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely! 11
