The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Successful indeed are the believers 1 Those who humbly cry in their prayers. 2 And they who turn away from ill speech 3 pay their religious tax 4 And who guard their modesty - 5 save from their wives, or those whom their right hands possess; for with regard to them they are free from blame " 6 But whoso craveth beyond that, such are transgressors - 7 And they who are to their trusts and their promises attentive 8 and those who attend to their prayers; 9 and who are steadfast in their prayer. 10 Who will inherit Paradise: they will dwell therein (for ever). 11 And assuredly We created man of an extract of clay. 12 then We placed him as a drop of fluid in a safe place, 13 then We created of the drop a clot then We created of the clot a tissue then We created of the tissue bones then We garmented the bones in flesh; thereafter We produced him as another creature. So blessed be God, the fairest of creators! 14 After that you shall surely die, 15 Then you will all be raised on the Day of Resurrection. 16 And We have created above you seven layered heavens, and never have We been of [Our] creation unaware. 17 And we send down from the sky water in measure, and We give it lodging in the earth, and lo! We are Able to withdraw it. 18 We have established for you gardens of palm trees and vineyards with this water with many fruits for you to consume. 19 also a tree growing on Mount Sinai which produces oil and a condiment for those who eat it. 20 You have a lesson in livestock. We provide you with drink from what is in their bellies, and you have many other benefits from them; some of them you eat, 21 And on them and on the ships you are borne. 22
