3/4 Hizb 45

Noah called to Us; and how excellent were the Answerers! 75 And We delivered him and his people from the Great Calamity, 76 and made his offspring the only ones to survive, 77 and left for him among the later folk 78 Peace be upon Nooh, among the entire people. 79 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 80 Surely he was one of Our truly believing servants. 81 We drowned all the others (besides Noah and his people). 82 ۞ And most surely Ibrahim followed his way. 83 When he came to his Lord with a free heart, 84 Behold! he said to his father and to his people, "What is that which ye worship? 85 A lie-- gods besides Allah-- do you desire? 86 What think you then of the Lord of all Being?' 87 Then he looked at the stars, looking up once, 88 He then said, “I feel sick (of you)!” 89 and at that they turned their backs on him and went away. 90 He then sneaked upon their deities and said, “Do you not eat?” 91 What is the matter with you, that you do not speak' 92 Then he attacked them, striking with his right hand. 93 Then came the others to him hastening. 94 He said: Worship ye that which ye yourselves do carve 95 when it is Allah who created you and all that you do' 96 They said, "Build him a furnace, and throw him into the blazing fire!" 97 They wanted to harm him, but We humiliated them all. 98 And [then] he said, "Indeed, I will go to [where I am ordered by] my Lord; He will guide me. 99 Abraham prayed, "Lord, grant me a righteous son". 100 We therefore gave him the glad tidings of an intelligent son. 101 And when he reached the age when he could work with him, he said, "O my son, I have seen in a dream that I am sacrificing you. So tell me what you think of it!" He replied, "O my father, do as you are commanded; and God willing, you will find me steadfast." 102 Then, when they had both submitted themselves (to the Will of Allah), and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead (or on the side of his forehead for slaughtering); 103 And We called out to him saying: O Ibrahim! 104 thou hast already fulfilled [the purpose of] that dream-vision!" Thus, verily, do We reward the doers of good: 105 Verily, that indeed was a manifest trial 106 We ransomed him with a great sacrifice, 107 and left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 108 Salamun (peace) be upon Ibrahim (Abraham)!" 109 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 110 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaq, a Herald of the Hidden, from among those who deserve Our proximity. 112 We blessed him and Isaac: but of their progeny are (some) that do right, and (some) that obviously do wrong, to their own souls. 113
