۞ Do you not see those who took for friends a people whom Allah is wroth with? They neither belong to you nor you to them. They swear to a falsehood, and they do so knowingly. 14 God has reserved a severe punishment for them. Evil indeed are the things they do! 15 They have taken their oaths as a disguise and bar from the Way of Allah, so a humiliating punishment awaits them. 16 Neither their worldly possessions nor their offspring will be of the least avail to them against God: it is they who are destined for the fire, therein to abide! 17 On the day that God will raise them together, they will swear before Him as they swear before you, and imagine they are on the right path. Is it not they who are liars? 18 Satan has got the better of them and has caused them to forget the remembrance of God. They have gone over to the side of the devil, and it is as the devil's partisans that they shall be the losers: 19 Surely (as for) those who are in opposition to Allah and His Apostle; they shall be among the most abased. 20 God has decreed, "I and My Messenger shall certainly triumph." God is All-powerful and Majestic. 21 You shall find no nation believing in Allah and the Last Day loving anyone that opposes Allah and His Messenger, even though they be their fathers, their sons, their brothers, or their tribe. Those, He has written upon their hearts faith and strengthened them with a spirit from Him. He will admit them to the Gardens underneath which rivers flow, where they shall live forever. Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him. They are the Party of Allah; and the Party of Allah are the winners. 22
