Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing. 65 “Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them – the Almighty, the Oft Forgiving.” 66 Say thou: it is a tiding mighty. 67 from which you are turning away. 68 I had no knowledge of the High Assembly's dispute. 69 Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner. 70 Your Lord said to the angels, "I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 “So when I have perfected him and breathed into him a spirit from Myself, (you all) fall down before him in prostration.” 72 Thereupon the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together, 73 save Iblis; he waxed proud, and was one of the unbelievers. 74 Said He: "O Iblis! What has kept thee from prostrating thyself before that [being] which I have created with My hands? Art thou too proud [to bow down before another created being,] or art thou of those who think [only] of themselves as high?" 75 He said: "I am better than he. You created me from fire, and him from clay." 76 He said: “Get out of here; surely you are accursed, 77 And lo! My curse is on thee till the Day of Judgment. 78 He (satan) replied: 'Respite me my Lord till the Day of Resurrection' 79 (Allah) said: "Verily! You are of those allowed respite 80 till the Day the time whereof is known [only to Me]." 81 (Iblis) said: "Then, by Thy power, I will put them all in the wrong, 82 except those of Your servants, the chosen ones from amongst them.” 83 [And God] said: "This, then, is the truth! And this truth do I state: 84 I will fill up Hell with you and every one of them who follows you." 85 Say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) “I do not ask any fee from you for the Qur’an, and I am not a fabricator.” 86 This [divine writ,] behold, is no less than a reminder to all the worlds — 87 And most certainly you will come to know about it after a time. 88
