The pious ones will receive a beautiful Paradise from their Lord. 34 What! Shall We treat those who have submitted (to Our command) like those who have acted as criminals? 35 What ails you then, how you judge? 36 Is there with you a Book wherein ye study: 37 that you will be granted whatever you choose? 38 Or, have you an oath from Us that stretches to the Day of Resurrection (if so) you shall surely have what you judge! 39 Ask thou of them, which of them will stand surety for that! 40 Or do they have partners? Then let them bring their partners, if they should be truthful. 41 On the day the great calamity befalls, and they are called to bow in homage, they will not be able to do so. 42 downcast will be their eyes, with ignominy overwhelming them - seeing that they had been called upon [in vain] to prostrate themselves [before Him] while they were yet sound [and alive]. 43 Then leave Me Alone with such as belie this Quran. We shall punish them gradually from directions they perceive not. 44 And I bear with them; verily My contrivance is sure. 45 Do you demand some recompense from them that would weigh them down with debt? 46 Is the unseen within their grasp so that they write it down? 47 Then be patient for the decision of your Lord, [O Muhammad], and be not like the companion of the fish when he called out while he was distressed. 48 Had not a Grace from his Lord reached him, he would indeed have been (left in the stomach of the fish, but We forgave him), so he was cast off on the naked shore, while he was to be blamed. 49 But his Lord exalted him, and included him among His righteous servants. 50 And those who disbelieve would almost smite you with their eyes when they hear the reminder, and they say: Most surely he is mad. 51 But it is nothing else than a Reminder to all the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 52
