Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

By the Glorious Morning Light, 1 and by the calm of night, 2 (O Prophet), your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased. 3 and the Last shall be better for thee than the First. 4 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 And find you in want and make you to be free from want? 8 Therefore, the orphan shalt thou never wrong, 9 and him that seeks [thy] help shalt thou never chide, 10 And as to the favour of thine Lord, discourse thou thereof. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
