Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Competition in [worldly] increase diverts you 1 until you come to the graves. 2 But you will come to know soon; -- 3 Nay, but ye will come to know! 4 Nay, were ye to know with certainty of mind, (ye would beware!) 5 you shall surely see Hell; 6 Again, ye shall see it with certainty of sight! 7 then you shall be questioned that day concerning true bliss. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
