The righteous (will be) amid gardens and fountains (of clear-flowing water). 45 Enter them in peace, secure. 46 And [by then] We shall have removed whatever unworthy thoughts or feelings may have been [lingering] in their breasts, [and they shall rest] as brethren, facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 47 Neither any hardship is to reach them in it, nor are they to be expelled from it. 48 ۞ Inform My bondmen that undoubtedly, I surely am the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful. 49 And verily My torment! that is the torment afflictive 50 And tell them of the guests of Abraham, 51 When they entered his presence and said, "Peace!" He said, "We feel afraid of you!" 52 'Do not be afraid' they answered. 'We come to give you glad tidings of a knowledgeable child' 53 He said: 'What is this, do you bring me glad tidings even though I am old' Of what do you give me glad tidings' 54 They said, "We have, indeed, given you glad tidings in truth; do not therefore despair." 55 "Who would despair of the mercy of his Lord," he answered, "but those who go astray." 56 He said: what is your errand, sent ones? 57 They said: verily we have been sent unto a people guilty 58 Except the family of Lot; indeed, we will save them all 59 Except his wife; We ordained that she shall surely be of those who remain behind. 60
