And there certainly came to the people of Pharaoh warning. 41 They rejected all Our communications, so We overtook them after the manner of a Mighty, Powerful One. 42 Are your disbelievers better than they were, or have you been given exemption in the Books? 43 Or do they say: "We are a well-accoutred army?" 44 (Let them know that) this united group will soon run away in defeat. 45 Nay; the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Hour shall be more calamitous and bitter. 46 Indeed, the criminals are in error and madness. 47 when they will be dragged on their faces into the fire and will be told, "Feel the touch of hell". 48 We have indeed created all things by measure; 49 And Our command is but one (word) swift as the winking of an eye. 50 And (oft) in the past, have We destroyed gangs like unto you: then is there any that will receive admonition? 51 All that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds): 52 everything, be it great or small, is recorded. 53 Surely the godfearing shall dwell amid gardens and a river 54 At the still centre in the proximity of the King all-powerful. 55
