And yet, whoever does [the least] of righteous deeds and is a believer withal, his endeavour shall not be disowned: for, behold, We shall record it in his favour. 94 It has been ordained against every town that We ever destroyed that they shall not return (to enjoy a new lease of life) 95 Until when the way is opened up for Gog and Magog and they press from every elevated place, 96 And the certain promise (of Doom) comes near. Then the eyes of unbelievers will be fixed in horror, (and they will cry:) "Ah, woe betide, we were indeed heedless of this, and were oppressors and unjust." 97 'Surely you, and that you were serving apart from God, are fuel for Gehenna; you shall go down to it.' 98 If these had been gods they would not have come thither, but all will abide therein. 99 Moaning will be their lot therein, and nothing [else] will they hear therein. 100 But those for whom a good reward had been fore-ordained by Us, will be far removed from it, 101 And will not hear its hissing, and will live for ever in the midst of what their hearts desire. 102 The greatest terror shall not grieve them, and the angels will receive them: 'This is the Day you have been promised' 103 The Day whereon We shall roll up the heaven like as the rolling up of a scroll for books. Even as We began the first creation, We shall restore it: a promise binding upon Us; verily We have been the Doers. 104 For We have written in the Psalms, after the Remembrance, 'The earth shall be the inheritance of My righteous servants.' 105 herein, behold, there is a message for people who [truly] worship God. 106 We have sent you forth as nothing but mercy to people of the whole world. 107 Say, "It is revealed to me that there is only one Lord. Will you then submit yourselves to His will?" 108 But if they turn back, Say: "I have proclaimed the Message to you all alike and in truth; but I know not whether that which ye are promised is near or far. 109 "Verily, He knows all that is said openly, just as He [alone] knows all that you would conceal. 110 "I know not but that it may be a trial for you, and a grant of (worldly) livelihood (to you) for a time." 111 He said: 'My Lord, judge in truth. Our Lord is the Merciful whose help is ever to be sought against what you describe' 112
