Say: 'O my Lord, if Thou shouldst show me that they are promised, 93 "Then, O my Lord! put me not amongst the people who do wrong!" 94 We have certainly the power to make you see what We have promised them. 95 Respond to the injustice (done to you) with the better deed. We know best what they attribute to God. 96 And say, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils, 97 and I take refuge in Thee, O my Lord, lest they attend me.' 98 Till, when death comes to one of them, he says, 'My Lord, return me; 99 "So that I may do good in that which I have left behind!" No! It is but a word that he speaks, and behind them is Barzakh (a barrier) until the Day when they will be resurrected. 100 Then, when the trumpet [of resurrection] is blown, no ties of kinship will on that Day prevail among them, and neither will they ask about one another. 101 Then, those whose scales (of good deeds) are heavy, - these, they are the successful. 102 And those whose scales are light are those who lose their souls, in hell abiding. 103 The Fire shall scorch their faces, exposing their jaws. 104 (They will be told), "Were Our revelations not recited to you and did you not call them lies?" 105 They will say: "O Lord, our misery overwhelmed us, so we remained a people astray. 106 Our Lord! Oh, bring us forth from hence! If we return (to evil) then indeed we shall be wrong-doers. 107 Allah will say: "Away from Me; stay where you are and do not address Me. 108 There is a party of My servants who said, "Our Lord, we believe; therefore forgive us, and have mercy on us, for Thou art the best of the merciful." 109 "You mocked and laughed at them until you forgot all about Me. 110 I have rewarded them this Day for their steadfastness, and it is they who have triumphed." 111 He will say, “How long did you stay on earth, counting by the number of years? 112 They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep account." 113 He will say, "You stayed not but a little - if only you had known. 114 What! did you then think that We had created you in vain and that you shall not be returned to Us? 115 So exalted is Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth; there is no deity except Him, Lord of the Noble Throne. 116 And whoever invokes with Allah another god-- he has no proof of this-- his reckoning is only with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not be successful. 117 And say, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, forgive us and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful." 118
