Hizb 46

Jonah too was one of the messengers. 139 He ran away to the laden ship, 140 And lots were cast (when a storm overtook them), he was rejected, (and thrown overboard). 141 The fish then swallowed him and he blamed himself. (For not waiting for Allah’s command.) 142 Had it not been that he (repented and) glorified Allah, 143 he would indeed have remained in its belly till the Day when all shall be raised from the dead: 144 ۞ But We caused him to be cast forth on to the beach, sick as he was, 145 and We caused a gourd tree to grow over him. 146 And We sent him to a hundred thousand (folk) or more 147 and [this time] they believed [in him] and so We allowed them to enjoy their life during the time allotted to them? 148 So ask them for a pronouncement -- Has thy Lord daughters, and they sons? 149 Or that We created the angels female, and they are witnesses (thereto)? 150 Is it not of their own calumny that they say, 151 " Allah has begotten," and indeed, they are liars. 152 (And again of their falsehood): He hath preferred daughters to sons. 153 “What is the matter with you? What sort of a judgement you impose!” 154 Will ye not then reflect? 155 Or have you, perchance, a clear evidence [for your assertions]? 156 Then bring your book, if you are truthful. 157 And they have invented a kinship between Him and the jinns, but the jinns know well that they have indeed to appear (before Him) (i.e. they will be brought for accounts). 158 Purity is to Allah from the matters they fabricate. 159 but not so the true servants of God, 160 So, verily you (pagans) and those whom you worship (idols). 161 Ye cannot excite (anyone) against Him. 162 except those who are doomed to enter hell. 163 None of us is there, but has a known station; 164 And most surely we are they who draw themselves out in ranks, 165 “And indeed we are those who say His purity.” 166 They used to say before: 167 'If only we had had a Reminder from the ancients, 168 we would surely have been God's chosen servants," 169 But (now that the Qur'an has come), they reject it: But soon will they know! 170 And indeed Our Word has already gone forth for Our bondmen who were sent. 171 That they verily would be made triumphant. 172 And that Our forces,- they surely must conquer. 173 So turn away from them for a while. 174 And watch them and they shall see (the punishment)! 175 What, do they seek to hasten Our punishment? 176 When that chastisement will descend upon their courtyard, evil shall that Day be for those who had been warned. 177 So turn thou away from them for a little while, 178 And (then) see, for they too shall see. 179 Your Lord, the Lord of Honor, is too exalted to be considered as they describe Him. 180 And peace be upon the Envoys; 181 And all praise is to Allah, the Lord Of The Creation. 182
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
