NAY, but consider the moon! 32 Consider the night when it departs, 33 And by the dawn when it brightens, 34 it is one of the greatest trials, 35 it is a warning to man, 36 a warning to everyone of you whether he would like to come forward or lag behind. 37 Each one is a hostage to one's deeds, 38 except those of the right hand 39 who will be in Paradise 40 About the criminals, 41 “What drove you to Hell?” 42 They will answer: "We were not among those who prayed; 43 “Nor used to feed the needy.” 44 We used to wade (in vain dispute) with (all) waders, 45 “And used to deny the Day of Justice.” 46 "Until there came to us (the Hour) that is certain." 47 So there will not benefit them the intercession of [any] intercessors. 48 Then what is the matter with them that they turn away from admonition?- 49 As if they were asses taking fright 50 Fleeing from a hunter, or a lion, or a beast of prey. 51 Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (coming from Allah with a writing that Islam is the right religion, and Muhammad SAW has come with the truth from Allah the Lord of the heavens and earth, etc.). 52 This will certainly never be the case! In fact, they are not afraid of the Day of Judgment. 53 Nay, verily, this (Quran) is an admonition, 54 So, whoever wills may benefit from it. 55 But none will keep it in remembrance except as Allah wills: He is the Lord of Righteousness, and the Lord of Forgiveness. 56
