(Muhammad), recall Our servant Job. When he prayed to his Lord saying, "Satan has afflicted me with hardship and torment," 41 (And it was said unto him): Strike the ground with thy foot. This (spring) is a cool bath and a refreshing drink. 42 And We bestowed on him his household and along with them the like thereof, out of mercy from us, and a remembrance unto men of understanding. 43 (and We said to him): “Take in your hand a bundle of rushes and strike with it, and do not break your oath.” Indeed We found him steadfast. How excellent a servant (of Ours) he was. Indeed he constantly turned (to his Lord). 44 And remember Our bondmen Ibrahim, and Ishaq, and Yaqub – the men of power and knowledge. 45 Verily We did choose them for a special (purpose)- proclaiming the Message of the Hereafter. 46 In Our sight they are among the chosen and excellent ones. 47 And commemorate Isma'il, Elisha, and Zul-Kifl: Each of them was of the Company of the Good. 48 This is an admonition, and verily for the God-fearing is a happy retreat: 49 #NAME? 50 in which they will recline, and call for abundant fruit and drink therein. 51 ۞ And beside them will be chaste women restraining their glances, (companions) of equal age. 52 'This is what you are promised on the Day of Recompense, 53 Indeed this is Our sustenance, which will never end. 54 This (is for the righteous). And lo! for the transgressors there with be an evil journey's end, 55 They will suffer in hell. What a terrible dwelling! 56 This - so let them taste it - is scalding water and [foul] purulence. 57 And other torments of similar kind, all together! 58 [And they will say to one another: "Do you see] this crowd of people who rushed headlong [into sin] with you? No welcome to them! Verily, they [too] shall have to endure the fire!" 59 They will say, "Nor you! No welcome for you. You, [our leaders], brought this upon us, and wretched is the settlement." 60 They will say: "O Lord, give him who has brought this upon us two times more the torment of Hell;" 61 And they will say, "Why do we not see men whom we used to count among the worst? 62 and whom we mocked? Have they been rescued or can our eyes not find them?" 63 Such, behold, will in truth be the [confusion and] mutual wrangling of the people of the fire! 64
