Say: "Truly am I a Warner: no god is there but the one Allah, Supreme and Irresistible,- 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them; the Almighty, the Forgiving' 66 Say: 'This is a mighty message 67 From which you turn away. 68 "No knowledge have I of the Chiefs on high, when they discuss (matters) among themselves. 69 Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner. 70 Your Lord said to the angels, "I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 Then when I have formed him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down before him prostrate. 72 Then the angels, all of them, prostrated themselves before Adam 73 Not so Iblis: he was haughty, and became one of those who reject Faith. 74 He (Allah) said: 'iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself towards that which I have created with My Hands? Have you become too proud, or are you among the grand' 75 Satan replied, "I am better than him. You created me from fire, but You created him from clay." 76 He said: Then get out of it, for surely you are driven away: 77 'My curse shall rest on you until the Day of Recompense' 78 He said, "Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection". 79 He said: Lo! thou art of those reprieved 80 till the Appointed Day." 81 He said, "By Your Glory, I shall seduce all of them (children of Adam). 82 except Your sincere servants among them". 83 (Allah) said: "Then it is just and fitting- and I say what is just and fitting- 84 Most certainly will I fill hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together!" 85 SAY [O Prophet]: "No reward whatever do I ask of you for this [message]; and I am not one of those who claim to be what they are not. 86 This is nothing but an Admonition for all people the world over. 87 "And ye shall certainly know the truth of it (all) after a while." 88
