And We have placed within the heaven great stars and have beautified it for the observers. 16 and guarded them from every stoned satan. 17 Except the ones who listen on the sly, yet they are chased away by a shooting flame. 18 And the earth We have spread out (like a carpet); set thereon mountains firm and immovable; and produced therein all kinds of things in due balance. 19 We have provided on it sustenance for you, and for those you cannot provide. 20 There is nothing except that its treasuries are with Us and We do not send it down except in a known measure. 21 And We have sent the fertilizing winds and sent down water from the sky and given you drink from it. And you are not its retainers. 22 And certainly We! We it is Who give life, and cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 And indeed, We know the first generations of you who had passed away, and indeed, We know the present generations of you (mankind), and also those who will come afterwards. 24 and, behold, it is thy Sustainer who will gather them all together [on Judgment Day]: verily, He is Wise, All-Knowing! 25
