It is He who gave you ears, eyes and hearts, yet how seldom you are grateful! 78 It was He who scattered you on the earth, and before Him you shall be gathered. 79 And it is He Who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 No, but they said what the ancients said before them: 81 They said, 'What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be indeed raised up? 82 "Such things have been promised to us and to our fathers before! they are nothing but tales of the ancients!" 83 Say: "To whom does the earth and whosoever is upon it then belong, if you know?" 84 [And they will reply: "Unto God." Say: "Will you not, then, bethink yourselves [of Him]?" 85 Ask them, "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Great Throne?" 86 They will surely say: "Allah." Say: "Will you not, then, fear (Allah)?" 87 Say: "In whose hand rests the mighty dominion over all things, and who is it that protects, the while there is no protection against Him? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 88 They will reply spontaneously, "It is God." Ask them, "Why has falsehood bewitched you?" 89 In fact We have sent the truth to them, but they are liars. 90 No son (or offspring or children) did Allah beget, nor is there any ilah (god) along with Him; (if there had been many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have tried to overcome others! Glorified be Allah above all that they attribute to Him! 91 The Knower of the unseen and the seen, so may He be exalted above what they associate (with Him). 92
