The people of Nooh denied the Noble Messengers. 105 when their brother Noah said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 106 I am for you an honest Messenger, 107 Have fear of God and obey me. 108 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 109 so fear God and obey me." 110 ۞ They replied: 'Are we to believe you whom the lowliest follow' 111 He said: 'I have no knowledge of what they have done. 112 Their account falls only upon my Lord, were you but aware. 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner. 115 They said: If thou cease not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be among those stoned (to death). 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 So pass a clear judgement between me and them and rescue me and the believers with me." 118 So We saved him, and those who were with him in the laden ark, 119 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. 120 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122
