۞ O mankind! ye are needers unto Allah, and Allah! He is the Self-Sufficient, the Praiseworthy 15 if He so wished, He could take you away and replace you with a new creation; 16 This would not cost God dear at all. 17 And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. And if a heavily laden soul calls [another] to [carry some of] its load, nothing of it will be carried, even if he should be a close relative. You can only warn those who fear their Lord unseen and have established prayer. And whoever purifies himself only purifies himself for [the benefit of] his soul. And to Allah is the [final] destination. 18 The blind and the seeing are not alike, 19 nor darkness and light; 20 shade and heat are not alike, 21 Nor are (alike) the living (believers) and the dead (disbelievers). Verily, Allah makes whom He will hear, but you cannot make hear those who are in graves. 22 thou art nothing but a warner. 23 Lo! We have sent thee with the Truth, a bearer of glad tidings and a warner; and there is not a nation but a warner hath passed among them. 24 And if these disbelievers deny you, those before them had also denied; their Noble Messengers came to them with clear proofs and scriptures and the bright Book. 25 Then I seized the ones who disbelieved, and how [terrible] was My reproach. 26
