Verily We bestowed the Book upon Moses. So entertain no doubt if (the Prophet Muhammad) received the same. We had made that Book a guidance for the Children of Israel, 23 and [as] We raised among them leaders who, so long as they bore themselves with patience and had sure faith in Our messages, guided [their people] in accordance with Our behest [so, too, shall it be with the divine writ revealed unto thee, O Muhammad.] 24 On the Day of Resurrection your Lord will distinguish between them that on which they varied. 25 Is it not a guidance to them, how many generations We destroyed before them in whose dwelling-places they walk? Surely in that are signs; what, will they not hear? 26 Have they not seen that We drive the water to the barren land and cause crops to grow which they and their cattle consume? Why, then, they will not see? 27 And they say, “When will this decision take place, if you are truthful?” 28 Say: On the day of judgment the faith of those who (now) disbelieve will not profit them, nor will they be respited. 29 and then leave them alone, and wait [for the truth to unfold as] they, behold, are waiting. 30
