۞ I swear by the setting of the stars 75 And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great. 76 Behold, it is a truly noble discourse, 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 which none but the pure [of heart] can touch: 79 A revelation by the Lord of the worlds. 80 Then why do you dissimulate this Revelation? 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat, 83 And ye are at that moment looking 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 if you are not subject to anyone's authority, 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 89 and if he be a Companion of the Right: 90 Then there is safety and peace (from the Punishment of Allah) for (you as you are from) those on the Right Hand. 91 But if one happens to be of those who are wont to call the truth a lie, and [thus] go astray, 92 he will be welcomed with boiling water. 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 This is indeed an utmost certainty. 95 Then praise your Lord, the most supreme. 96
