The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By oath of the heaven, and by oath of the nightly arriver. 1 - Ah, what will tell thee what the Morning Star is! 2 The piercing star! 3 [for] no human being has ever been left unguarded. 4 So let man look - from what is he created. 5 Created from a gushing fluid. 6 issuing from between the loins [of man] and the pelvic arch [of woman]. 7 Surely He is able to bring him back 8 The Day that (all) things secret will be tested, 9 when he will be helpless, with no supporter. 10 By the Firmament which returns (in its round), 11 And by the earth which splitteth, 12 Indeed the Qur’an is a decisive Word. 13 And it is not a frivolity. 14 They are hatching up a plot, 15 and so am I: 16 So leave the unbelievers to themselves; respite them awhile. 17
Almighty God's Truth.
End of Surah: The Comet (Al-Taareq). Sent down in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
