The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken by the shaking thereof, 1 And Earth yieldeth up her burdens, 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 Because your Lord has commanded it. 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 Whosoever has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And whoever does an evil deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 8
