But what is the matter with the unbelievers, that they strain their glances continuously towards them, 36 from the right and from the left, in crowds? 37 Coveteth every man of them, that he shall enter the Garden of Delight? 38 By no means! Surely We have created them of what they know. 39 But nay! I call to witness [Our being] the Sustainer of all the points of sunrise and sunset: verily, well able are We 40 to substitute a better than they; We shall not be outstripped. 41 So leave them to their vain disputes and amusement till they meet their day (of reckoning) promised them, 42 The Day they will emerge from the graves rapidly as if they were, toward an erected idol, hastening. 43 Eyes lowered, shame attending. That is the day they have been promised! 44
