(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 High has He reared its vault and formed it in accordance with what it was meant to be; 28 And He made dark the night thereof, and He brought forth the morn thereof. 29 And after that, the earth: wide has He spread its expanse, 30 and then brought from it its water and pastures. 31 And the mountains, He made them firm, 32 As provision for you and your grazing livestock. 33 Therefore, when there comes the great, overwhelming (Event),- 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 and the blazing fire [of hell] will be laid open before all who [are destined to] see it. 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 And who chose the life of the world, 38 Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire; 39 And as for him who fears to stand in the presence of his Lord and forbids the soul from low desires, 40 surely Paradise shall be the refuge. 41 They (the disbelievers) ask you regarding the Last Day, as to when is its appointed time. 42 But how are you to know? 43 Towards your Lord only is its conclusion. 44 You are only a warner to him who would fear it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, it will be as if they had lingered but an evening, or, a morning. 46
