The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
