T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta-Ha. 1 We did not reveal the Qur'an to you to cause you distress; 2 But as a reminder unto him who feareth, 3 A revelation from Him Who created the earth and the high heavens. 4 the Merciful willed to the Throne. 5 all that is in the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, and all that is underneath the soil. 6 And if you (O Muhammad SAW) speak (the invocation) aloud, then verily, He knows the secret and that which is yet more hidden. 7 God: There is no god but He. To Him belong the attributes most beautiful. 8 Hath there come unto thee the story of Musa? 9 When he saw a fire, he said to his family: 'Stay here, for I can see a fire. Perhaps I can bring you a lighted torch or find at the fire guidance' 10 And when he reached it, he was called by name: O Moses! 11 Indeed, I am your Lord, so remove your sandals. Indeed, you are in the sacred valley of Tuwa. 12 I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed to you. 13 Verily I! I am Allah! no God there is but I; so worship Me, and establish prayer for My remembrance. 14 The Hour is coming. But I choose to keep it hidden, so that every human being may be recompensed in accordance with his labours. 15 “Therefore never let one, who does not accept faith in it and follows his own desires, prevent you from accepting this, so then you become ruined.” 16 And what is this in your right hand, O Musa! 17 He said: "This is my stick, whereon I lean, and wherewith I beat down branches for my sheep, and wherein I find other uses." 18 He said: Cast it down, O Moses! 19 So he threw it down, and all of a sudden, it turned into a fast-moving serpent. 20 'Take it, and do not fear' He said, 'We will restore it to its former state. 21 Put your hand under your armpit: it will come out [shining] white, without any blemish. This shall be another sign. 22 That We may show thee (some) of Our greater portents, 23 Go thou unto Pharaoh! Lo! he hath transgressed (the bounds). 24
