And indeed, the Qur'an is the revelation of the Lord of the worlds. 192 Which the True Spirit hath brought down 193 upon thy heart, [O Muhammad] so that thou mayest be among those who preach 194 In the perspicuous Arabic tongue. 195 Surely, it is foretold in the ancient scriptures. 196 Is it not a sign to them that the learned scholars (like 'Abdullah bin Salam who embraced Islam) of the Children of Israel knew it (as true)? 197 Had We revealed it to any of the non-Arabs, 198 And he had recited it to them, and they had not believed (it would have been different). 199 Thus do We cause (unbelief) to enter the hearts of sinners. 200 They will not believe in it until they see the painful punishment. 201 It shall come unto them on a sudden, and they shall not perceive. 202 and then they will say: 'Shall we be respited' 203 Do they want to hasten Our punishment? 204 Beholdest thou? if We let them enjoy for years. 205 and then the promised punishment fell upon them, 206 what will it then avail them, the enjoyment of days they were given? 207 Never did We destroy a population, but had its warners - 208 and reminded: for, never do We wrong [anyone]. 209 No evil ones have brought down this (Revelation): 210 And it behoves them not, and they have not the power to do (it). 211 Indeed they, from [its] hearing, are removed. 212 Hence, [O man,] do not invoke any other deity side by side with God, lest thou find thyself among those who are made to suffer [on Judgment Day]. 213 and warn your nearest kinsmen; 214 and lower your wing to the believers who follow you. 215 Then if they disobey thee, say: "I am free (of responsibility) for what ye do!" 216 Put thy trust in the All-mighty, the All-compassionate 217 Who watches you when you get up, 218 And watches your movements among those who prostrate in prayer. 219 Surely He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 220 Shall I inform you upon whom do the devils descend? 221 They descend on every guilty impostor. 222 The satans try to listen to the heavens but many of them are liars. 223 As for the poets, only those who go astray follow them. 224 Do you not see how they wander aimlessly in every valley, 225 And that they say what they practise not?- 226 Save those who believe and do good works, and remember Allah much, and vindicate themselves after they have been wronged. Those who do wrong will come to know by what a (great) reverse they will be overturned! 227
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
