Hast thou not seen how We sent the Satans against the unbelievers, to prick them? 83 Therefore be not in haste against them, We only number out to them a number (of days). 84 The day We shall usher the righteous before Ar-Rahman like envoys into the presence of a king, 85 And We shall drive the Mujrimun (polytheists, sinners, criminals, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, etc.) to Hell, in a thirsty state (like a thirsty herd driven down to water), 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 And they say: The Beneficent hath taken unto Himself a son. 88 Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing. 89 Well-nigh the heavens are rent thereat and the earth cleft in sunder and the mountains fall down in pieces. 90 That they attribute to the Most Merciful a son. 91 And it is not worthy of the Beneficent Allah that He should take (to Himself) a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful as a servant. 93 He has counted them and calculated their number. 94 And each of them is to come to Him on the Day of Judgment alone. 95 Surely (as for) those who believe and do good deeds for them will Allah bring about love. 96 So We have made it easy in thine tongue in order that thou mayest thereby give glad tidings unto the Godfearing and warn thereby a people contentious. 97 for, how many a generation have We destroyed before their time - [and] canst thou perceive any one of them [now,] or hear any whisper of them? 98
