Al-Mu' minoon 4 of 6
Messengers! Partake of the things that are clean, and act righteously. I know well all that you do. 51 Your religion is but one religion -- and I am your only Lord, therefore, fear Me. 52 But people later cut up their religion into bits, each group rejoicing in what they have. 53 (Muhammad), leave them alone in their dark ignorance for an appointed time. 54 What, do they think that We succour them with of wealth and children, 55 We are busy lavishing on them all kinds of good? Nay, they do not perceive the reality of the matter. 56 Indeed, they who are apprehensive from fear of their Lord 57 And those who believe in the signs of their Lord – 58 and those who associate naught with their Lord 59 and who give whatever they [have to] give with their hearts trembling at the thought that unto their Sustainer they must return: 60 those, hasten in good works, outracing to them. 61 And We charge no soul except [with that within] its capacity, and with Us is a record which speaks with truth; and they will not be wronged. 62 Nay, their hearts are in overwhelming ignorance with respect to it and they have besides this other deeds which they do. 63 So that when We seize the affluent among them with affliction, they will begin to implore for help. 64 We shall tell them, "Do not cry for help on this day; you will receive none from Us". 65 My signs were recited to you, but upon your heels you withdrew, 66 Stiff-necked, discoursing thereof by night, reviling. 67 Was it that you did not give any thought to it (the Quran)? Was it different from what was revealed to your fathers? 68 Or, is it because they do not recognize their Messenger that they denied him? 69 Or they say, “He is afflicted by a demon”; in fact he brought the Truth to them, and most of them dislike the Truth. 70 But if the Truth had followed their inclinations, the heavens and the earth and whoever is in them would have been ruined. Rather, We have brought them their message, but they, from their message, are turning away. 71 Or dost thou ask of them (O Muhammad) any tribute? But the bounty of thy Lord is better, for He is Best of all who make provision. 72 And verily, thou callest them onto a straight way 73 And verily those who believe not in the Hereafter are from the path deviating. 74 ۞ Even if We showed them mercy and relieved them of their afflictions, they would still persist in their transgression, wandering blindly. 75 We seized them with the punishment, but they did not surrender to their Lord, nor will they humble themselves 76 until We opened upon them the door of a severe chastisement. Then lo, in this state they become utterly despaired of any good. 77

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
