Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
