The Pharaoh and his people had also received Our warning, 41 They rejected each one of Our signs. So We seized them with the grip of one mighty and powerful. 42 Are you disbelievers mightier than those of the nations which We destroyed before or have you received amnesty through the ancient Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: We are a host allied together to help each other? 44 (Let them know that) this united group will soon run away in defeat. 45 Nay; the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Hour shall be more calamitous and bitter. 46 Verily, the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.) are in error (in this world) and will burn (in the Hell-fire in the Hereafter). 47 The day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire: 'Taste now the touch of Sakar!' 48 Verily, We have created all things with Qadar (Divine Preordainments of all things before their creation, as written in the Book of Decrees Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 49 Our commandment is but one word, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And certainly We have already destroyed the likes of you, but is there anyone who will mind? 51 All their deeds are recorded in their books: 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 Verily, The Muttaqun (pious), will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers (Paradise). 54 in the seat of truth with an all-powerful sovereign. 55
