The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By heaven of the constellations, 1 And by the Promised Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection); 2 And [by] the witness and what is witnessed, 3 (Self-)destroyed were the owners of the ditch 4 Of the fire (kept burning) with fuel, 5 When they were sitting near it 6 and were witnessing what they did to the believers. 7 And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy, 8 Him to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness to all things. 9 Those who persecute (or draw into temptation) the Believers, men and women, and do not turn in repentance, will have the Penalty of Hell: They will have the Penalty of the Burning Fire. 10 Indeed those who believed and did good deeds for them are Gardens beneath which rivers flow; this is the great success. 11 The vengeance of God is terribly severe. 12 It is He who creates all things and causes them to return. 13 And He is the Oft-Forgiving, Full of Loving-Kindness, 14 Lord of the Arsh, the Glorious, 15 The Doer of whatever He wants. 16 Hast thou received the story of the hosts, 17 [Those of] Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 And yet, they who are bent on denying the truth persist in giving it the lie: 19 God encompasses them from all sides. 20 Nay! it is a glorious Quran, 21 In a guarded tablet. 22
God the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
