Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the bright forenoon, 1 and the brooding night! 2 your Lord has not forsaken you (Prophet Muhammad), nor does He hate you. 3 And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you as an orphan and give you shelter? 6 Did He not find you wandering, and give you guidance? 7 And found you in need, so made you prosperous? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, 9 and him that seeks [thy] help shalt thou never chide, 10 and proclaim the bounty of your Lord. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
