The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 and earth brings forth her burdens, 2 and man cries out, "What has happened to her?" 3 On that day she shall tell her news, 4 as thy Sustainer will have inspired her to do! 5 That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds. 6 Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! 7 and he who shall have done an atom's weight of evil, shall behold it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
